If the battery needs to be replaced, that is one of the main worries for potential EV buyers.
According to Recurrent, EV battery replacements might cost anywhere between $5,000 and $20,000.
Tesla stated that its battery packs are made to outlast the vehicle in its 2021 impact report.
"We estimate that a vehicle gets scrapped after approximately 200,000 miles of usage in the U.S. and roughly 150,000 miles in Europe," the survey stated.
The batteries made by Tesla are also warrantied.
Although warranties vary widely between models, they are typically valid for 8 years or between 100,000 and 150 000 miles, whichever comes first.
While EVs as a whole do have issues more frequently than other vehicles
Tesla models are notable for their dependability, despite occasional problems with battery packs and charging.
