The North American Charging Standard (NACS) will be incorporated into Mercedes-Benz's lineup of electric vehicles in North America beginning in 2025, the company said today.

The organization will simultaneously grow its own Mercedes-Benz Charging Network.

According to the business, it is the first German OEM to commit to integrating a NACS charging port into its new electric vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz was reportedly considering switching to NACS in June, however it was unconfirmed at the time.

In 2024, Mercedes-Benz plans to start selling NACS to Combined Charging System (CCS1) adapters.

More than 12,000 Tesla Supercharging stations will be open to Mercedes-Benz drivers in North America.

The deal between Tesla and Mercedes Benz is identical.
