They are to be made safer and to be able to charge more quickly.
Currently available liquid lithium-ion electrolyte batteries are used in electric vehicles.
But EVs that use liquid batteries have a number of well-known drawbacks.
such as being quite heavy and requiring considerably more time to recharge than gasoline cars do.
Additionally, they are flammable, particularly if the batteries overheat.
